Dictation timeout trick still working?

I recall there was some special manipulation being done to extend the dictation time in previous versions of drafts or iOS…?
I get about 30–45 seconds then it quits.

Is that good mileage?
I feel it used to be longer.

Are you using Drafts custom dictation interface? Details

That is only a feature of that interface. If you are just using the microphone on the keyboard, that is a system level feature and Drafts cannot intervene.

Ahh. That should’ve been obvious sorry. I’ve edited my keyboards too much = no dictate button.
Any chance the top middle menu bar gets a permanent “favorite” action area ??
