Can you ‘auto flag’ any new note that you create?
There is no setting within Drafts to automatically flag new drafts.
Most people simply use the inbox folder as the way to identify new, unprocessed, drafts. Additionally, some people use workspaces as a way to filter drafts that have been processed, but remain in the inbox.

Looking at this sideways: if you were willing to use an action to create your new Drafts, that could be set up in such a way that it would flag any new drafts you might make with it… and that could be added to your sidebar, your Drafts keyboard row, or even your home screen (Drafts widget or Shortcut)…
